Yoga Pose Looking Up

Yoga for Stress Relief

Episode 1 of our Virtual Yoga Series

Welcome!

We're thrilled to have you join us. Feel free to revisit this page as often as you like to get the most out of your yoga practice.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Yoga Instructor, Jaime Carroll.

Safety First

Before you begin, it’s important to prioritize your safety:

  • Stretching: Take a few minutes to stretch and warm up your body.

  • Listen to Your Body: If any pose causes pain, stop immediately. Yoga should never hurt.

  • Consult Your Doctor: Always speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise routine.

What You’ll Need

To make your practice as comfortable and effective as possible, gather the following items:

  • Yoga Mat or Towel: A non-slip surface to practice on.

  • Small Pillow or Folded Blanket: For added support during certain poses.

  • Yoga Blocks (2) or Two Small Stacks of Books: To help with balance and flexibility.

  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout your session.

  • Comfortable Clothes: Wear attire suitable for yoga or light exercise.
