She is always willing to lend both hand and heart to help, love, and guide.
Ariel Black, RN, BSN
Ariel has a Bachelor of Nursing degree and has worked in a variety of nursing specialties over nearly a decade. She really found a passion for women's health during her own journey through infertility and plans to pursue further education to become a Nurse Practitioner in that expertise. In addition to her career of caring for and educating others, Ariel enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, reading and crafting.
After a diagnosis of stage 4 endometriosis Ariel started a journey that included several surgeries, hormone treatments, loss and eventually IVF. During all this is when she found IC and a community of people to relate to during a very isolating time. Ariel is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for Infertility Connections and is excited to bring her experience to help and support those within the infertility community.

Liz England
Liz is no stranger to infertility. After suffering with endometriosis and several failed IUIs, she and her husband Josh ventured down the road of IVF, which resulted in the birth of their twins 18 years ago. Liz is so thankful that there are now resources available through IC for those who are struggling with all of the challenges that come from infertility. She has a great passion to help spread the word about IC and to fight for more infertility advocacy.
Liz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah. She discovered her passion for baking a few years ago and attended pastry school online during the pandemic. In her free time, she loves being with her husband and three children, traveling, and baking.
Auschel Felt
Auschel worked with Infertility Connections as a Program Director for two years prior to joining the Board of Directors. Three years ago, she learned about the IC Lucky Socks program and couldn't wait to join our community. Never having a community during her journey made her passionate about helping others in a way she wasn't during her own infertility journey. Auschel had been diagnosed with unexplained infertility for several years, before discovering that she had severe low egg reserve. She welcomed one son, and twin girls through IVF.

Auschel has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Utah, and enjoys being part of her Millcreek Community. She serves on a local community council, as well as a PTA board member. Brooke Walrath
Brooke Walrath has been an educator in Utah for close to a decade. She has a BA in Spanish Education and an MA in Spanish, with a focus on Latin American literature. It is an honor for her to serve on the board of Infertility Connections.
After a few frustrating years facing infertility with little more than blogs and WebMD for support, Brooke finally sought out a reproductive endocrinologist and an in-person support group. After a few appointments with the doctor, she learned that she and her husband were facing both male and female factor infertility. She has four IVF cycles and a miscarriage under her belt.
Brooke likes to spend her time reading, studying, or going out with her husband, usually to see a movie or explore downtown Salt Lake City. She loves working with IC to educate others about their family building options and advocate at the state and federal levels for legislation that helps ease the burden of infertility. Infertility is and has been the most isolating incident of her life and she believes that no one deserves to feel alone in it.
